
Zoe Lister-Jones stars in "Whitney" as Lily, who is sweet, upbeat and
unapologetic about wanting to get married to her 'perfect man,' Neal (Maulik Pancholy).
Lister-Jones is a Brooklyn-born actor, writer and producer. Her film "Breaking Upwards," which she cowrote,
produced and starred in with director Daryl Wein, was released theatrically by IFC in 2010.
Lister-Jones is next starring in Fox Searchlight's upcoming "Lola Versus," which she co-wrote and is
producing. In addition, she has recently appeared in the feature films "The Other Guys," "Salt," "State
of Play," "Shadows and Lies" and "Stuck Between Stations."
For television, Lister-Jones reprised her role as Kim on the live-action Adult Swim series "Delocated"
for seasons one and two, and guest starred on HBO's "Bored to Death" and "The Good Wife." Other
television credits include guest-starring roles on NBC's "Law and Order," "Law and Order: Criminal
Intent," "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit," "Law and Order: Trial By Jury," "The Class" and
"Kidnapped."
On Broadway, Lister-Jones received excellent reviews for "The Little Dog Laughed," after creating the
role of "Ellen" off-Broadway at Second Stage. She was also seen off-Broadway in her one-woman
show, "Codependence is a Four-Letter Word," "The Marriage of Bette and Boo" at the Roundabout, and
"The Accomplices" for The New Group.
Other film credits include "Armless," "Arranged," "The Wedding Bros.," "Falling Star" and "Turn the
River."
Lister-Jones is a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.
