It's the much anticipated international destination episode! This season the girls are headed to the bright lights and colours of Macau.
Challenge: Recreate your Aura
The girls are taken to see Master Chen, a Chinese astrologer who looks into their future and arms each girl with their primary element and lucky colour to better their luck and fortune. After that they are challenged to give themselves an aura makeover based off Master Chen's advice.
The Good: Laura definitely deserved the win. I did feel she was the only girl who took what Master Chen gave her to heart and knew exactly how to transform that in to a fashion look.
The Bad: Being the only US girl left, Eboni got to share Laura's prize. This was one of the rare times I felt it was unfair that it was a team challenge as Eboni was not the next best in the challenge.
The Ugly: What was Catherine thinking with the green lipstick?! I thought it was hilarious – and also quite embarrassing – that Master Chen actually went "out of character" to point it out.
Photo Shoot: Meet your Silk Maker
Mr. Jay prefaces this week's shoot by saying fashion is all about creating daring imagery. That being said, the girls find out that they not only get to don gorgeous silk couture by internationally renowned designer Barney Cheng, but they have to do it with the silk's slimy, squirmy producers.
The Good: Laura nails best photo with a bizarre yet beautiful "caught in the moment" shot. I agree with Kelly; she does look great with dark hair. While Sophie's pose does not fully showcase the beauty of the dress, I still found the crouched awkwardness of her photo strangely alluring.
The Bad: I actually thought Alisha's photo was not too bad; I liked the sense of mystery about it. But I do agree that from a modelling perspective, it was an epic fail. Again she struggled to bring it all together – while her face looked great, from the neck down, she was not selling the dress at all.
The Ugly: While it was Laura's week this week by contrast it certainly wasn't Catherine's week. She looked more like a cross between a waitress and game show hostess than a model with her odd pose. Such a shame too because I thought she had one of the best dresses out of the bunch.
Judging: Show your Dress, not Yourself
I thought Sophie was in trouble considering she committed the same modelling crime as Alisha. Farewell Queen Catherine! Alisha seems to be on a continuous downward spiral – will she recover?
