As a newcomer on the acting scene, American Horror Story was Taissa Farmiga’s first major role on television. She was born and raised in New Jersey. Farmiga attended public school until the fourth grade when her mother began homeschooling her along with her two siblings.

Farmiga is an avid reader with a passion for novels. She adores nature and loves being outdoors to enjoy snowboarding, hiking, and traveling. She can play the guitar, cook, and has mastered the art of making really, really tiny origami cranes.
