Over the past 4 weeks, 6 teams of budding designers from Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design have been working on a tough task: to create a piece of high end fashion and have it ready to be revealed at New Zealand Fashion Week 2012, September 3rd - 9th.
Mentored by internationally renowned Kiwi designer Adrian Hailwood, the challenge to these students was unique - take their inspiration from one of six Kim Crawford wine varietals and produce something quite out of the ordinary.
The teams were more than up to the task, creating a range of beautiful designs that you can view on our photo page, or in person around the Kim Crawford bar at Fashion Week in the Viaduct Events Centre. The decision on which design is the best comes down to you. To vote, click on your favourite design above, we've got a bunch of wine packs to giveaway so make sure you have your say!
Once that's done watch the trials and tribulations these students have endured over the past 4 weeks by watching the webisodes below.
