Sandwich Tips
Check out Walt’s tips below for sprucing up your sandwiches!
1. Use a biscuit cutter to make your sandwiches in to cool
shapes!
2. Another great tip is when you're making buns and you want
to put in a bit more filling, you can simply rip out some of the bun's contents
to make a larger cavity so then you can fit more in!
3. Make a sushi style sandwich! Use a tortilla wrap and
place all your ingredients inside, then roll it up and chop it in to smaller
pieces.
We’ve got some tips below on how to keep your bread from
getting soggy if you’re making a good old fashioned sandwich!
1. Use whole grain bread.
2. Chop up your wet ingredients, place them in a re-sealable
bag and add them to your sandwich at lunch time.
But if you don’t have enough time for that you can layer
your sandwich so you avoid getting soggy bread! It’s easy, just don’t let your
tomato (or any other ingredient that could make your bread soggy) touch the
bread!
Here’s an example of how you could layer it…. bread, ham,
tomato, lettuce, bread.
