- 1 cloves garlic, finely
minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried leaf
oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Pinch of black pepper
- Mash crushed red pepper
flakes, or to taste
Dough ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of lukewarm water
- ½ tsp of active dry yeast
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 tbsp of oil
WHAT TO DO:
Start by making your dough.
1. Place warm water
in either large mixing bowl or electric mixer with dough hook.
2. Sprinkle yeast
over and stand in warm place for 10 minutes.
3. Mix in flour and
oil until evenly combined.
4. Knead on a
lightly floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth, dough should be quite
sticky.
5. Transfer to bowl
and leave to rise in a warm place until dough has doubled in size 1-2 hrs.
6. Roll your dough out so it’s thin and get started on your pizza sauce. You can either just spread on
some tomato paste or make your own. Here’s a yummy one you can whip up.
7. Into a blender place:
- Half a can tomatoes, plain or
fire-roasted
- Half a can of tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic, finely
minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried leaf
oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Pinch of black pepper
- Mash crushed red pepper
flakes, or to taste
Blend until of a smooth
consistency
8. Now add your toppings on to your
pizza. A cool idea is to make each slice a different colour.
9. Then chuck it in the oven at
200’ for about 15 minutes!
