WHAT YOU NEED:

Fillings:
- Tomato paste (watties)
- Watties chopped tomatoes in a can
- Mozzarella cheese
- Garlic (finely chopped)
- Pepperoni (diced up)

Pizza dough:
- 1/2 cup of lukewarm water
- ½ tsp of active dry yeast
-1 cup of flour
-1 tbsp of oil

You’ll also need ‘mason jars’ for this as the jar will be baked in the oven- check with an oldie that you’ve got the right jar!

WHAT TO DO:

1. Place warm water in a large mixing bowl.
2. Sprinkle yeast over and stand in warm place for 10 minutes.
3. Mix in flour and oil until evenly combined.
4. Knead on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth, dough should be quite sticky.
5. Transfer to bowl and leave to rise in a warm place until dough has doubled in size (1-2 hrs).
6. Next up, press a layer of dough into the bottom of the mason jar.
7. Place jar in a deep dish of water (so that the jar won’t crack in oven from heat).
8. Bake in oven at 190 degrees for 15- 20 mins.

Note: it’s very important to keep an eye on things because each oven is different – try not to open the oven door to often though as it changes the temp.

9. Now add your fillings to the jar…
- Tomato paste (watties)
- Watties chopped tomatoes in a can
- Mozzarella cheese
- Garlic (finely chopped)
- pepperoni (diced up)

10. Roll out a small piece of dough and place on as top layer. Then place in the oven and submerge in a deep dish of water again, bake for 15-20 mins.
