WHAT YOU NEED:

1x 20x30” sheet lightweight fabric in a colour of your choice
1x 20x30" sheet brown packing paper
1/8"-diameter dowels: 1x 20" long for keel spar and 2 x 21" long for wing spars
1 x 20" long 1/8"-diameter dowel for spreader bar
Feathers (as many as possible) in complimentary colours to the material
Party streamers in similar colours for the tail
Scissors
Glue (strong) & packing/masking tape (tape needs to be able to stick to material)
Nylon/fishing line for the string for the kite
Spray paint/ paint in similar colours
Any other decorations – sequins, glitter, general pretty stuff.


WHAT TO DO:

Step 1: Cut out tissue.
Step 2: Glue 2 wings together.
Step 3: Glue on 3 spars.
Step 4: Reinforce keel with tape.
Step 5: Attach spreader bar.
Pattern below to be pre-cut out on brown packing paper to correct dimensions.
Step 7: Decorate!
