What was your best buy over the holidays?

I hit the op-shops (what better place to spruce up your summer wardrobe, right?) And found an awesome geek chic white button down shirt with a cool 80’s pattern on it – for $8! Can anyone say S-C-O-R-E?!

Most exciting thing you did this summer?

Hands down would have to be the 5 hour long fishing adventure around the rocks at Tutakaka that I had with my brothers and dad. It was pretty challenging taking on the rocks and the ocean but totally worth it – I caught a fish for dinner! Yuss…

Which three food items would you take to a desert island?

Hmm…I’ve always said that I could live off avocados, and they are a pretty amazing all rounder when it comes to food! What else? Straw/blue/rasp berries (I couldn’t choose) and cheese. Yum.

What new things do you want to try in 2012?

I’m on a mission to get fighting fit! So I’ll be trying a lot of fun new exercises. Also, I’m not likely to become an international-music-superstar-rockstar with my guitar skills at the moment – so I’d love to improve on that and singing too.

Tell us about something you've made:

Well. Once I 'made' a song on the guitar... it was for my first boyfriend who broke up with me. I wrote my very heartbroken lyrics down in my diary - cool eh!? Lol. Also I have made a lot of lasagne before. I love lasagne. Mmmm... delicious. What was the question again?

What's the grossest thing you've eaten?

The worst time ever was when I was in kindergarten (except I remember it like it was yesterday). There I was, minding my own business by the sandpit. I went to go and take a bite of my delicious marmite sandwich, but I felt a weird sensation in my mouth... and then I LOOKED AT THE SANDWICH AND THERE WAS A DADDY LONG LEGS SPIDER ON IT!!! AHHH! Oh it was scary. But I guess I didn't really eat it. Thank goodness.

What's your favourite internet/text abbreviation?

One that I made up right now - I reckon everyone will be using it soon: PDTRGSH - Stands for "pizza duck talking raccoon gannet shoe holder." You can use it when you're happy, sad, surprised, laughing... it's good for all emotions.
