Misfits Confirmed for Fourth Season
As Season 3 of Misfits heats up plans are well underway for a fourth season.
The UK producers confirmed late last year that the show would continue. And while that's good news for fans – be warned - there will be changes.
If you're still getting over the loss of the incorrigible Nathan (Robert Sheenan), then get ready to cry into your chicken nuggets.
Iwan Rheon (Simon) and Antonia Thomas (Alisha) have both announced that they will not be returning.
As an on-screen couple it's not yet clear whether their departures are linked or how their absence will be explained on the show.
Will Simon and Alisha live happily ever after, or burn out in a superpower induced fire ball? Maybe Curtis shifts time and they never existed at all. When you're dealing with superpowers anything is possible.
Rheon said that he had enjoyed his time on the show but was "looking forward to doing exciting new things."
And as Rheon is quick to add "the show must go on".
New characters are yet to be announced but have faith that the show's writers will be itching to create a new batch of socially inept Misfits.
Sure the loss of Nathan left some big shoes/pants/gobby-liners to fill. Many fans doubted that Rudy was up to the task.
But with lines like "I've always wanted a vagina of my own…not to keep though, as I've heard they need maintenance", Rudy is not without his own (lack of) charm.
And if you're really still missing Nathan, don't fret – you can catch his antics in our webisode - Vegas Baby.
