Kangaroo Stew
So Kangaroo
meat might not be your thing, but you can make this stew with any kind of meat!
WHAT YOU
NEED:
- 500g
kangaroo meat, diced
- 1 onion,
diced
- 1 tin
tomato soup
- 2 cups
water
- 2
potatoes, diced
- 1 sweet
potato, diced
- 2
carrots, diced
- 1 cup of
frozen peas
- 1 tsp dried
mixed herbs
- 1 tbs
plain flour
WHAT TO DO:
- Place oil
in a sauce pan.
- Add in
meat and let that cook until it’s browned all over.
- Dice your
onion (grab an oldie for this).
- Add onion
and tomato soup and water and cook until meat is tender.
- Add potatoes, carrot, peas, and
mixed herbs and keep cooking.
- In a
separate bowl, mix flour and extra water to make a thick smooth paste, add to
stew!
- Cook on
low heat until the sauce has thickened and the veges and meat are tender
- Keep cooking
it this away until the veges and meat are both nice and tender!
