Tina Character Biography
Tina comes back from summer vacation with a new boyfriend: Mike Chang, who she fell for at Asian Camp. Despite her ex Artie's attempts to win her back, she's into her new guy.
When things get tense between Tina and Mike, she tries to win Artie back, but now he's into Brittany and turns her down.
Tina shares a growing concern with Artie that Mike and Brittany are having an affair. She admits that two outcasts like them never had a chance with a football player and a cheerleader. Their suspicions seem to be realized when Artie overhears Brittany admitting that she committed "adultery," but it turns out that the not-so-bright Brittany thinks that the word means she's acting stupid - "like being an adult."
When the football players are forced to join the glee club, many of them quit and are thrown off of the Titans as a result. Tina agrees to join the other glee girls on the field so that the team can qualify to compete in the big game. The New Directions girls originally plan to lay down for the plays, but Tina unexpectedly scoops up a fumble. Her attempt at a touchdown is botched when she gets tackled and is taken out of the game.
In the meantime, Mike and Tina's relationship is back on track. She's overwhelmed by her emotions for him, and she's reduced to tears after serenading him with a rendition of My Funny Valentine.
