Emma Pillsbury Character Biography
When school started last fall, Emma was still dating Dr. Carl. His positive influences on her were becoming evident, as she was starting to loosen up. And she remained with Carl even after Will tried to impress her by impulsively buying a Corvette convertible.
But that didn't stop Will from trying to win back her affections. When he discovered Emma's newfound appreciation for The Rocky Horror Picture Show, he decided to mount a production of the bawdy show with the glee club. At Will's request, Emma volunteered as costume designer. Then things heated up between them, when Mr. Shue stepped into the Rocky role and got Emma to rehearse the sexy Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me number.
Mr. Schuester gave Emma advance tickets to sectionals, but Carl objected to her going. Emma told Will she couldn't be there; instead, she went to Las Vegas and eloped with Carl.
When Carl turned to substitute teacher Holly Holiday for counseling, he admitted that he and Emma hadn't had sex after four months of marriage, and Emma confessed that she's confused about her feelings for Will. Unbeknownst to Will, Carl moved into a hotel to give Emma time to think.
