STATION ONE: WETTING DOWN

- Wet horse down totally with a sponge and a bucket of water.
- Start at feet and lower legs to get them used to it.
- Make sure they know where you are at all times: never sneak up on a horse!
- Use circular motions.

STATION TWO: SOAPING UP

- Apply body wash/shampoo to body, mane and tail.
- Rinse down thoroughly.

STATION THREE: FINISHING TOUCHES

- Scrape/clean hooves.
- Get rid of excess water with a ‘sweat scraper’.
