Honey Bubble Slice
WHAT YOU NEED:
- ¼ cup sesame
seeds
- 1 cup toasted muesli
- 3 cups rice bubbles
- ½ cup desiccated coconut
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- Chopped dried fruit
- 125g butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
WHAT TO DO:
1. Start by toasting your sesame
seeds. Place them in a pan and keep an eye on them- they burn super quick (make
sure you’ve got an oldie helping you when your working near the stove).
2. Next add the sesame
seeds, 1 cup toasted muesli, 3 cups rice bubbles , 1/2 cup desiccated coconut ,
1/4 cup sunflower seeds.
3. Into a pan add in the butter, honey and peanut butter and
simmer until all the ingredients
have dissolved, then bring to the boil and let it simmer
for 5 minutes. The mixture gets extremely
hot and sticky so have oven mitts on!!
4. Pour your wet ingredients into bowl of dry ingredients
and mix with wooden spoon.
5. Press the mix into a lined tray and pop in fridge for 2-3
hours.
