Not too many songs this week but aside from that, boy was this episode a goodie!
Glee-tastic
1. Never thought to pair Sam and Brittany together (platonic or otherwise) but I love that they are "new blonde besties" now.
2. Out of all the costumes Blaine donned during the first number, I loved the superhero costume the best – he looked like Robin with cat ears and a bowtie!
3. Isabelle Wright played by the fabulous SJP! She's kind of like a Glee-ed up version of Carrie Bradshaw, don't you think?! I think it's no coincidence that she is the antithesis to Cassandra July. I love how quickly she and Kurt clicked and how supportive she is. They definitely are kindred spirits.
4. EVERYTHING KURT WORE. I think Isabelle is spot on; Kurt's a fantastic performer and natural for Broadway but I think fashion is his calling. Like she said, anyone that can pull off a hippo brooch has a great aptitude for fashion! And did you spot his very "fox-y" ensemble complete with tail?
5. Rachel's makeover. Bye bye, reindeer sweater. Love the wavy hair and more grown up look. Those dresses she wore at Vogue were so incredibly stunning, I was having serious fashion envy!
6. Blaine's speech during the presidential debate was both inspiring and amusing. I loved how he got so worked up when he brought up the "disgusting" hair gel ban Brittany imposed at the last prom – "first step to tyranny" – the poor thing is still traumatized about the whole ordeal!
7. Sam reaching out to Blaine was so sweet. I think with Finn and Puck gone it looks like Sam has taking over the "leading man" role in the group.
Glee-sastrous
1. Kurt ignoring Blaine's call. Not so surprising I must say but still sad all the same.
2. Beware McKinley, Coach Sue's mean streak and acid tongue is back! Least even though she's mean to Mr Schue it's now in a caring way...sort of!
3. Rachel opening the door at the end. (I sensed that was going to happen but still didn't stop my jaw from dropping when it did!)
My Glee Forecast
1. I think it's a no brainer what is likely to happen after that closing scene.
2. I think "Klaine" may be in trouble too.
3. With Mr. Schue disappearing for a few months, I think the New Directions will either be "babysat" by Emma or someone new will swoop along and steal the club off Mr. Schue.
Gleeks, make sure you all have plenty of tissues ready for next week as it's the break up episode. *SOB* Four couples are put to the test and at least one will not survive...
