What’s your favourite thing about your hometown? There’s so much to do and it’s a such melting pot of cultures.
Do you have any brothers and sisters? I’ve got a younger sister called Sheldene.
What are you into? Basketball (Go Breakers!), Hip Hop, Heavy Metal, Poetry and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Speaking of Hip Hop, there’s this mean MC coming up called Loui the Zu from NZ. Google him!
What other jobs have you had? I did voluntary work for St Johns when I was younger and DJ’d a radio show when I was a teen as well!
Who is your idol and why? Kobe Bryant who plays for my favourite team the LA Lakers. He’s just such an awesome player who makes big shot after big shot in such high pressure situations, and his work ethic is second to none. Plus he’s got the best looking jumpshot.
Who is your celeb crush? I’ll front up and say I’ve got a crush on Ruby Frost. She’s like a living, breathing fairy. Without wings. But with the sparkles and glitter. Ok, I’ll stop.
Baked beans or Spaghetti? Spaghetti. Because baked beans make you fart, and I can safely say that’s where 80% of Walter’s odour stems from. Lay off the beans!
What’s the scariest thing you’ve ever done? I went to Spookers for my 16th birthday with 12 of my guy mates, we were all on the verge of wetting our pants! But last year I skydived for Extreme Science! It was unreal, the plane ride psyches you out, looking down at the Earth below is such an incredible image, and then falling towards it at incredible speed is indescribable. I’d definitely do it again!
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Crab. Like actual out of the shell crab meat. Not the “surimi” stuff you get in supermarkets, if you ever try real crab, you’ll be hooked. It’s crazy good.
When you were 10, what did you want to be when you grew up? When I was 10 I wanted to be a surgeon, a neurologist to be precise. But after getting involved with performing arts, I knew I wanted to be doing something in Film and TV.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why? I’d probably be a Cat. 1. They’re cute, 2. They’re well looked after, 3. They’ve got insane reflexes, 4. THEY’RE CATS!
Who do you think would win in a fight between Batman and Superman? Batman. 3 words – Kryptonite Bat Suit. Game over folks.
What’s your favourite dessert? Pavlova! You can’t beat a Kiwi classic like that.
Favourite TV show? Modern Family – Phil Dunphy off that show is hilarious!
Favourite item of clothing? This family ring my father gave me. He used to wear it a lot when he was younger, and he inherited it from his uncle. It reminds me a lot of my family, and it’s definitely something I’ll pass on when the time is right.
What was your best Christmas present? I don’t think I have a favourite present, but the best of Christmas was having the whole family together. Just having the whole unit together with the Christmas vibe was perfect.
Do you have any New Year resolutions? I’m starting with the man in the mirror. I’m asking him to change his waaaays (ooo yeah!), and no message could’ve been any clearer, if you wanna make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and then make a change! (Gotta love Michael Jackson). On a more serious note, just to work harder and put my best into anything I do.
