Diffy Apple Pie
- 3 granny
- 1 tsp of
- ½ tsp of
- Almonds, saltanas and walnuts
crust pastry rolled out to 3mm deep and cut into 1cm strips
WHAT TO DO:
1. First cut
the apple ¼ from the top and scoop out the middle.
2. Then take
the top of that apple you’ve lopped off, cut that into chunks and mix in a bowl
with the brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
apple mixture back into hollowed out apple.
4. Next you
need to weave your strips of pastry and place them on the top of the apple.
apples in a baking dish with high sides.
water in dish ¼ up the apple (helps cook apple and stop it from burning)
7. Bake for
30 minutes at 180 degrees.
