WHAT YOU NEED FOR SHORTS:

• Pair of white cotton rugby shorts
• Fluro orange fabric dye
• Green, black and light blue textile paint
• Paint brush
• Clear vinegar
• Disposable gloves
• Bucket
• Newspaper

STEPS FOR SHORTS:

• Dye shorts in orange fluro die in big bucket of cold water – follow instructions on packet. Hang out to dry.
• Once the dye is almost dry you can start on the splattering effect. For this you’ll need textile dye or textile paint.
• Lay your shorts on a flat area covered with newspaper.
• The next bits are up to your imagination! Freestyle your way through splattering your shorts with your colours, you can flick, splatter, dab and pour it on!
• Wait until the shorts are completely dry. Don’t stress if the paint is on too thick as it’ll dissolve off when you rinse them.
• Once they have dried you can rinse them off or pop them in the washing machine.
