Krista White, 25, a retail manager from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was announced the winner of the 14th cycle of the hit reality series AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, during the finale. Raina Hein, 22, a student from Minnetonka, Minnesota, was the first runner-up.

In the two-part cycle 14 finale, the four remaining contestants, Krista, Alexandra, Raina and Angelea, were reminiscing about their experiences during the competition when they received a surprise visit from judge André Leon Talley. While at their apartment in New Zealand, André gave the girls an insightful and helpful view inside the fashion industry.

After their time with André the girls discovered that they would need to pack their bags and head to the airport. The models were met by Jay Manuel who announced to the girls that they would be travelling to Queenstown, New Zealand, for their next photo shoot. Once on board, the girls were surprised by Miss J. Alexander who informed the girls that they would be participating in their next runway challenge while flying 35,000 feet in the air. The winner of the runway challenge would receive $2,000 worth of Boh Runga jewelry and an opportunity to participate in New Zealand Fashion Week. Krista’s poise wowed both Miss J. and Jay Manuel making her the winner of the challenge.

The girls were met by Jay Manuel as they arrived in Queenstown. Shortly after arriving, the girls were taken to their next photo shoot challenge where they discovered that they would be participating in an “ugly-pretty” photo shoot, a shoot that would require them to be styled in a dramatic way so there would be a great juxtaposition between the models and the breathtaking Queenstown backdrop. The girls were shocked when Jay also announced that two of the four remaining contestants would be eliminated after the photo shoot.
The four remaining contestants arrived at the judges’ panel where they were met by Tyra Banks, Jay Manuel, Nigel Barker and André Leon Talley. Tyra told the girls that the two remaining competitors would participate in an Anna Sui runway show. She went on to announce that Krista and Raina would be the final two contestants in the competition.

The second half of the episode began with Krista and Raina jetting off on a helicopter to a picturesque water-front hotel where they were met by Miss J. who announced that they would be shooting their CoverGirl commercial and print ad campaigns the following day. While the girls were studying their commercial scripts, cycle 13 winner Nicole Fox surprised Krista and Raina to tell them about their CoverGirl challenge.

The next day, the girls were met by Nigel Barker for their Seventeen Magazine cover shoots. Upon their return home, the girls were surprised by Tyra when she revealed that the girls’ families were in New Zealand to take “Top Model” family portraits.

The girls then made their way to the Anna Sui, circus-inspired runway show were they would compete for the title of “America’s Next Top Model.” Raina and Krista, along with eliminated contestants Angelea, Jessica, Alexandra and Alasia, showcased their best runway walks to an audience that included Tyra Banks, André Leon Talley and the contestants’ families.

At the final elimination ceremony, the judges decided Krista’s versatility and natural charisma in front of the camera made her the best choice to become AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.

Krista receives a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl and will appear on the cover and six-page fashion spread in Seventeen magazine.
